Kevin Harrison

Allow me to introduce Kevin Harrison. He is a local Birmingham, AL singer/songwriter. Also a part of Volant Music, he does solo performances regularly. He needed some images for promotional odds and ends and asked me to help. What fun!!

We started at 5:45 am (you KNOW I love this if I'm up at that hour) and just had a blast. Not only did I get to shoot some great images, but he serenaded me while I did! Maybe I should make this a regular part of my shoots... live music. And maybe we should all go hear him perform!



Bad news girls... his wife is at least as hot as he is.

On one of the hottest days I remember so far this summer, I had the pleasure of chasing these two precious kiddos around. They were so responsive and happy that it was easy to get good shots! Here are a few of my favorites, although it was hard to decide!

Fourth of July

Every year for the Fourth, we go to Centerhill Lake in Tennessee. It is my favorite place in the world. So peaceful and relaxing and GORGEOUS. On the Saturday closest to the 4th every year, there is a Fiddler's Jamboree in town (Smithville, TN) which we thoroughly enjoy! Here is just a taste of the perfection of the 4th of July in the Je Vois world.

We ate fried turkey legs, foot-long corndogs, funnel cakes AND fried snickers. Good southern food.

Boston

I headed up to Boston 2 weeks ago to shoot a wedding. It was awesome- overlooking the city and the river and the wedding with the most couple-specific touches I've ever seen.
